R. J. Gandhi & Co. has covered a long way

A hundred years ago, with the vision of Shri Hansraj Hari, grandfather of R. J. Gandhi Sr., a freight broking firm in the shipping industry was founded, which was to be passed down the generations.

R. J. Gandhi & Co. came into existence in 1977, after having completed 24 years of R. J. Gandhi Sr.’s undaunted reputation in a carrier with the traditional firm. R. J. Gandhi & Co., was floated 26 years ago, with the office at Embassy Centre, Nariman Point.

This company now runs under the joint leadership of R. J. Gandhi Sr. and R. J. Gandhi Jr., with the strength of experienced and well-trained staff in the related fields of shipping into which the company has diversified. This is backed up by up to date communication systems and latest in computer technology.

R. J. Gandhi & Co. also happens to be on the managing committee of, Bombay Overseas Freight Brokers’ Association, which is a government-recognised body. The firm also holds the post of hon. Secretary for over a period of nearly one and a half-decade.

Having specialised in dealing with various products in engineering like Steel pipes, GI sheets, Steel coils and Strand wires, Chemicals (hazardous/non-hazardous), Textiles and Yarn. The firm handles freight bookings corporates and many prestigious export houses. For bulk commodities, chartered vessels are also arranged.

The clean reputation is traditionally maintained even today with a promise for the similar future.
